This position will be in the Pageland SC facility working with the HR Manager and another Generalist. The HR Generalist collaborates with managers to implement all aspects of the HR programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists in various human resource plans and procedures for company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
• Assists in the hourly performance evaluation program for Pageland plant.
• Assist in the benefits administration function, which will include claims resolution, change reporting, verifying invoices for payment and employee communication.
• Able to be the backup if needed for maintaining an affirmative action program and coordinating the filing associated with the program.
• Conducts new-employee orientations as needed.
• Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
• Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaints.
• Represents the company for unemployment claims when HR Manager is unavailable.
• Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
• Assists in continual improvement efforts of the department.
• Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
• Hourly payroll processes.
• Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
