Associate Software Engineer who can design, develop and test
software for our industry leading laser beam profiling systems.
This position offers flexible work options allowing for on-site
and/or remote work. Even if remote based, we are seeking candidates
commutable to our N. Logan, UT location as candidates will be
expected to be on-site as necessary. Responsibilities include: -
Developing software programs to meet the requirements and
constraints of the customer scope of work - Working with our beam
profiling technologies; learning new measurement methodologies and
implementing advanced algorithms. - Work within a highly skilled
team to accomplish all the deliverables throughout the Software
Development Lifecycle (design, development, testing, and
implementation) - Developing solutions to complex scientific
problems - Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish
goals - A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected What
you will bring to the team, along with your curiosity and
excitement for science and technology: - The desire to grow and
expand your knowledge base - BA/BS degree in a quantitative
discipline (Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering) and 0 to
3 years of experience - Experience with all aspects of a Software
Development Life Cycle (design, development, testing, and
implementation) - Software development expertise with an
understanding of C++, , Java, and/or C#. We are a C# shop
developing desktop scientific applications for laser diagnostics. -
Expertise in GUI (WPF) development is a plus - Experience in image
processing a plus - Experience with optics a plus - Experience with
OOD, TDD and CI a plus - Experience with Agile Development and
Scrum a plus Globally, our policy is to recruit individuals from
