they do. Purpose of the Job The Manager, Systems Analysis is a key
IT leadership position who will lead a team of Systems Analysts who
are responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing business
systems solutions. The Manager will lead the Systems Analysts team
to translate requirements into technical solution concepts and
specifications. The Manager is also responsible for leading the
team to coordinate and complete the Quality Assurance testing
lifecycle to ensure technology implementations and upgrades are
defect free. The Manager will enable the Credit Union business
teams to achieve goals by delivering sound technology solutions by
collaborating with other CU technology teams and 3rd party
technology vendors to align work efforts. Essential Functions and
Responsibilities Leads, mentors, and manages a team of Business
Analysts, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture. Sets
clear goals, provides regular feedback, and conducts performance
evaluations to drive team development. Manages resource allocation
and workload distribution to balance production support with
project completion, ensuring both are delivered on time and within
budget. Monitors and reports on team performance, time tracking,
and resource availability to maintain efficiency. Ensures the team
effectively gathers, analyzes, and documents business requirements
to support system enhancements and new implementations. Drives
accountability for delivering high-quality system specifications,
process flow diagrams, and well-documented solutions. Collaborates
with IT, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business
requirements into technical solutions. Ensures optimal system
configuration by aligning with vendor recommendations and industry
best practices. Works with Project Management and Business Analysts
to ensure the System Analysts meet requirements, stay on schedule,
and define tasks and estimates. Partners with other managers to
prioritize initiatives based on business impact, resource
availability, and strategic alignment. Oversees Systems Analysis
projects outside the PMO, ensuring proper execution of new
implementations and enhancements. Acts as a liaison between
business units and IT, facilitating clear communication and
understanding of technical requirements. Leads cross-functional
meetings and workshops to identify business challenges and
technical opportunities. Ensures systems align with the
organization's long-term strategy, scalability, and performance
goals. Drives continuous improvement initiatives, working with
third-party vendors and internal teams to enhance efficiency and
reduce costs. Implements and enforces best practices for systems
analysis, design, and project execution. Oversees timely upgrades
and enhancements to applications, ensuring minimal disruption to
business operations. Ensures the team provides prompt incident
response, troubleshooting, and on-call support for critical system
issues. Other Duties and Responsibilities Assists with other tasks
and projects as assigned. Must have flexibility to work evenings
and/or weekends as needed to support critical system issues,
upgrades or releases. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must have
demonstrated ability to lead others, with the ability to facilitate
group discussions Must have SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
working knowledge Must have a strong working knowledge of a variety
of applications that support the Credit Union Must have
demonstrated ability to build an effective relationship with 3rd
party vendors Must have demonstrated ability to analyze and
interpret data, understand and communicate complex and diverse
information, and effectively present information to senior
leadership and other business partners Must have the ability to
make practical and timely decisions Must have demonstrated project
management knowledge Must have excellent communication skills in
English, both verbal and written; excellent listening and
questioning skills; proven ability to reach an audience through
effective and clear presentations Must have superior interpersonal
skills; ability to get along with diverse personalities; tactful,
mature, flexible, and compassionate Must have strong PC skills,
with proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint,
and Visio Must have the ability to understand all business
processes within the Credit Union, as well as understanding the
underlying technologies supporting those business processes Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills required, with the ability to
research issues, summarize findings, and recommend resolution
options Must have strong critical thinking skills and experience in
communicating change impact analysis Must be detail-oriented and
well-organized Must be able to resolve multiple requests/issues
concurrently in fast-paced and complex business environment under
minimal supervision Must be able to work in a general office
environment Must be flexible and able to shift resources and
priorities as required Should possess a strong commitment to
providing excellent service to Truliant’s members, both internal
and external Physical Requirements Occasional standing, walking,
bending, and stooping required Must be able to sit at a desk for
moderate periods of time and use a computer Must be able to
moderately lift or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift or
move up to 10 pounds Education and Background Bachelor’s Degree in
Computer Science or Business Administration, or a related field
required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may
be considered A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
supporting critical application software (on-premise and SaaS) 10
years of Systems Analyst experience in the financial services
industry or with core systems may be considered in lieu of the
years of leadership experience requirement A working knowledge of
the fundamentals of the financial industry is required If you have
