Leasing Co., Ltd. Role Description As a DevOps Engineer you will
play a critical role binding the gap between development and
operations. You will have a development background and work closely
with our software engineering, QA, infrastructure and security
teams to design, implement and maintain a robust and scalable
platform solution to support mission-critical financial
applications. Your expertise will ensure the seamless deployment of
applications, while maintaining the highest levels of security,
compliance and performance. Tooling development: help to build out
the engineering platform that assists in improving developer
experience and productivity. Platform development: help to build
out the platform services. CICD Pipeline Management: design,
develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous
Deployment pipelines to streamline the software development
process. Infrastructure as Code – Implement and manage
Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible to
automate the provision and management of infrastructure. Monitoring
& Logging: develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring and
logging solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of
production systems. Security & Compliance: collaborate with
security teams to integrate security best practices into the DevOps
processes, ensuring that all systems meet the stringent compliance
requirements of the bank. Cloud and on-premise Infrastructure:
manage both Cloud based (Azure) and on-premise (OpenShift/VM’s)
infrastructure, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery
readiness. Collaboration: work closely with development, QA,
security and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable
application delivery and set best practice guidelines wherever
possible. Environment Stability: take part in the DevOps team Rota
to monitor alerts across environments, reporting on issues and
improving the monitoring stack as required. Release and DR: deploy
scheduled releases after EOD and DR weekend checkouts when
required. Qualifications and Skills At least 5 years as a developer
(ideally Java) Strong Kubernetes knowledge and relevant experience
Experience with monitoring and alerting technologies Strong IaC
knowledge and relevant experience Experience with GoLang and React
preferred Financial Industry knowledge Strong collaboration skills
across engineering, QA, security, and operations Bachelor’s degree
in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s
preferred) SMBC’s employees participate in a Hybrid workforce model
