What You’ll Do - Report to customers’ homes on time and arrive with the general knowledge of the work to be done. - Educate customers on system use, maintenance tips and techniques for damage prevention; provide insight and professional suggestions for optimizing system function. - Perform routine maintenance such as replenishing refrigerants and replacing filters. - Utilize several types of tools, including electrical hand-tools, saws, drills, vacuums, and refrigerant gauges. - Determine service requirements by applying technical skills and experience, including system operations and preventive maintenance experience. - Complete all work processes while maintaining safe working conditions and personal safety. - Maintain accurate logs of all work performed. - Ensure our reputation for superior service is maintained during all interactions with customers. - Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned / required. What you need to succeed: - Minimum 1 year of HVAC experience. - Strong knowledge of HVAC industry best practices and building codes. - Valid Driver’s License and Clean MVR. - High standards for your work. Physical Requirements: - Physically able to work on HVAC units - Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time. - Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders. - Ability to work outside; exposed to heat and cold. - Ability to hear and speak to exchange information.
