Location: On site in Memphis, TN, Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX,
Knoxville, TN, Orlando, FL, Miami, FL, New Orleans, LA, Lafayette,
LA, Birmingham, AL, or Nashville, TN. Summary Lead the bank’s
remote self-serve and branch cash automation strategy to
continuously evolve cash automation hardware and software as a
strategic channel of customer and associate convenience. This role
owns the end-to-end strategy, standards, contracts and financial
performance of all cash access technologies, including ATMs, ITMs,
and Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs) across First Horizon’s footprint.
The strategy lead will operate as a core component of the Consumer
Distribution team owning long-term planning, hardware and software
standards, vendor strategy and ROI of cash automation investments
in support of distribution convenience strategy and digital
migration goals. Operating independently from day-to-day execution,
this role sets direction and approves strategy while partnering
with ATM Operations, Product, and Technology, Consumer Strategy,
Design & Function, Market Planners, and Program Implementation to
translate network strategy into approved initiatives. You build and
maintain a database that tracks the self-service network
performance over time. This data will be analyze to continually
increase ROI, utilization, and client convenience by optimizing
access points, formats, and configurations. You are accountable for
the strategy and performance of the self?serve network across the
footprint. Operates as the specialized owner of self-serve and TCRs
within Consumer Distribution. Consolidate inputs from Market
Planners and Design & Function into a single plan for self-serve
actions; coordinate delivery with Program Implementation to meet
schedule and budget while maintaining governance, documentation,
required approvals, and regulatory notifications. Track
post?implementation performance versus expected outcomes and
provide structured feedback to Strategy so the roadmap gets smarter
over time. Accountabilities (outcomes) Own the 3–5 year strategy
for customer remote self-serve and branch cash automation, aligned
to distribution strategy, staffing models and digital migration
goals. Build and maintain a data infrastructure to guide decision
making and strategic improvement of the network. Increase
utilization, decrease cost-to-serve, improve capital efficiency and
ROI across all cash automation assets. Ensure optimal fleet size,
placement, configuration and format mix of remote self-serve
technologies and TCRs across markets and branch types. Own hardware
and software standards and serve as the strategic owner of vendor
relationships related to cash automation equipment, platforms and
maintenance services. Act as strategic approver for all remote
self-serve and branch cash automation initiatives in alignment with
Head of Consumer Distribution. Responsibilities (work performed)
Define and maintain the multi-year roadmap for remote self-serve
and TCR deployment, upgrades, redeployments consolidations and
retirements. Establish and maintain standards for cash automation
hardware, software capabilities, security, accessibility and
future-ready functionality in partnership with Technology and
Operations. Serve as strategic owner of vendor relationships and
contracts for cash automation equipment and services, including
performance expectations and cost management. Build and maintain a
data foundation that tracks utilization, uptime, costs, staffing
impact and financial outcomes; analyze performance versus
expectations and adjust strategy accordingly. Partner with ATM
Operations, Technology, Product, WFM, Design and Market Planners to
translate approved strategy into funded, governed and executed
actions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business or related
field; 8 years in network planning strategy, ATM strategy, other
strategic planning role preferred. Demonstrated experience owning
or influencing capital investment decisions with clear ROI
accountability. Familiarity with ATM, ITM and branch cash
automation ecosystems including hardware platforms, software and
vendor management. Familiarity with GIS technologies and mapping
software with strong analytical and spatial thinking skills.
Ability to operate independently, influence across functions, and
present complex recommendations to executive audiences. Strong
financial acumen, including cost-to-serve analysis, capital
planning and business case development. Effective communicator and
presenter; prepared for follow?up questions. Able to multi?task,
gather data from multiple sources, prioritize, and manage data.
