Job Details Key Responsibilities: Support attorneys with all phases of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, support, and equitable distribution Draft and prepare pleadings, declarations, financial affidavits, discovery responses, and trial exhibits File documents with North Carolina courts and ensure compliance with all local rules Maintain organized and up-to-date case files, calendars, and deadlines Liaise with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel in a professional and timely manner Assist with trial preparation and case management conferences Conduct legal research and summarize findings when needed Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in a family law practice In-depth knowledge of North Carolina family law procedures and court systems Strong drafting and proofreading skills with attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive client matters with discretion and empathy Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Paralegal Certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred Interested in hearing more?
