This job will primarily consist of regional vehicle operations
involving positioning and moving trucks and trailers on and between
our farms, retail facilities, and commercial/residential

Full-Time CDL-A Truck Driver Essential Functions Operate
company-owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and
receiving operations. Operate trucks for the delivery, pickup and
relocation of farm products and materials. Perform required
before-, during- and after-operation "user maintenance" and provide
required reports. Provide outstanding customer service during
delivery and pickup operations. Operate all MHE or Material
Handling Equipment. Maintain all required certifications required
by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs. Maintain and protect
all property in excellent condition. Perform any other tasks
assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.

Expected Hours of Work Typical work hours are Monday through
Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., though actual days and hours may
vary at the discretion of the Regional Driver Manager or Logistics
Director. During the harvesting season (typically March through
September,) S aturday work may be required, usually from 7:00 a.m.
to 12:00 p.m. Weekly hours increase, averaging 55–60 hours per week
instead of the standard 40. Part-time roles may be considered and
are subject to discussion and agreement between the driver and
manager. Travel Travel is primarily regional interstate hauling
during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and evening
travel may be expected. Required Education and Experience
Applicants must be at least 23 years of age to be considered for
this position. 2 years proven experience in commercial truck
driving required. Clean driving record with no major or excessive
violations within previous 3 years Must possess valid Class A CDL
and Medical Card, including muti-state certification status. Must
pass background check and drug test. Skilled at driving and parking
large, heavy vehicles. Alert, focused, and detail oriented.
Physically and mentally fit. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a
time. Possess great physical stamina and focus during long driving
shifts. Able to operate electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks,
etc. Proficient using GPS and other routing systems. Map reading
and route planning experience. An innate sense of direction.
Self-starter who works well independently. Disciplined, dependable,
and resourceful. High level of composure and good stress
management. High school diploma or GED required. Competencies

The employee will be expected to work outside in all weather
conditions and must have suitable clothing. They must have the
ability and willingness to work in adverse conditions, not just
including extreme weather but enclosed spaces and heights up to 80
feet. The employee will be expected to work around and with
machinery that distributes loud noises and exhaust. Personal
Protective gear is provided by the employer. This position does
require handling and operating of heavy equipment which may
introduce a high risk to slips, trips and falls. Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those
that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the
essential functions of this job. Company drivers are required to
sit and steer for long periods of time while having the ability to
coordinate several parts of the body, such as arms and legs, while
operating a commercial truck. A driver will be expected to operate
forklifts used for loading and unloading sod and other farm and
retail products. Drivers must be able to get in and out of their
trucks multiple times throughout the day as well as on and off
forklifts multiple times each day using three-point contact. Must
have adequate leg, foot, arm and hand control to climb into cab,
operate foot controls and safely navigate vehicle through traffic
and weather. Supervisory Responsibility This position requires
personal time management and scheduling.
