This role involves managing purchasing activities, ensuring timely renewal of contracts, and addressing outstanding tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in procurement processes and a solid understanding of purchasing operations. Responsibilities: • Oversee procurement tasks to ensure timely and efficient purchasing operations. • Handle contract renewals and maintain accurate records for ongoing agreements. • Manage purchase orders and ensure compliance with company policies. • Collaborate with suppliers to secure materials and maintain optimal inventory levels. • Address and resolve any backlogged purchasing activities. • Coordinate with internal departments to meet organizational procurement needs. • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance to ensure quality and reliability. • Maintain an organized purchasing database for tracking and reporting purposes. • Contribute to cost-saving initiatives by identifying opportunities for improved purchasing strategies.• Minimum of three to five years of experience in purchasing or buying roles. • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and purchasing activities. • Proficiency in managing purchase orders and vendor relationships. • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. • Effective communication and negotiation abilities. • Familiarity with inventory management and contract administration. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
