Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented individual to join our team in the role of Export Operations. The Export Operations will respond to customer inquiries, furnish the best rates for customers, verify and distribute invoices, prepare and distribute accurate documents, record and trace all shipments in a timely manner.* Book cargo for transportation with steamships, truckers in a timely manner* Track and trace cargo as necessary to ensure proper movement and delivery.* Provide the accounting department with proper and correct billing information.* Communicate with customers regarding the disposition of cargo.* Produce and distribute complete booking confirmations.* Disseminate ship, motor or rail carrier information to other offices.* Seek the most profitable mode of shipment, yet meet customer's requirement for the movement of their cargo.* Other traffic functions that may be assigned.Requirements:* 2-3 years of experience. Works under general supervision.
