MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Must have or be able to obtain a State Teaching License in
Family and Consumer Science

* Teach courses in Apparrel, Interior Design and Counseling &
Mental Health * Review curriculum from the State and develop
lessons for grades 9-12 that meet
the standards outlined for the assigned courses.
* Lecture, demonstrate, and use technology, to include sewing
provide hands on activities to the students within the
* Provide real life industry examples to students in the area of
Mental Health and Apparel. Arrange Industry guest speakers for
courses to allow students to understand career opportunities
within the areas.
* Works cooperatively with colleagues and the program area
learning community. * Performs other duties as required
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Full Time for ten (10) months.
