Job DescriptionJob Description A great metals manufacturer is
looking for a committed CNC operator to join their team. They offer

are something the company prides itself in. Job Requirements:
Create product blueprints and drawings with detailed GD&T
specifications for products and tooling designs Write programs
using CAM software on a computer-based off of specifications from
the Engineer Department. Program new jobs via CAM software Maintain
strict tolerances of within .0005 plus or less Plan machine
operations and production goals, accounting for work orders,
materials on hand, specifications, and machining parameters Detect
defects and check for adherence to blueprint specifications.
Reports defective materials, tooling, equipment, or questionable
conditions to management Closely monitor machines to prevent
malfunctions or waste Ability to design jigs, fixtures, multi-part
holdings, and templates to assist with production efficiency Learn
and use established practices, manual instructions and improve on
them for subsequent operations to maximize department efficiency
and productivity Evaluate experimental procedures and recommend
changes or modifications for efficiency and adaptability to setup
and production Adhere to preventative maintenance, safety procedure
requirements, and overall cleanliness Make routine repairs on
machines using manual or past knowledge through experience
Qualifications: Strong working knowledge of tool offsets, speeds,
and feeds for cutting various materials Strong programming,
problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, mechanical, and
communication skills Leadership and organizational skills to meet
daily demands for workflow Estimate time and materials for machine
jobs, strong time management skills Mechanically inclined and
metallurgy knowledge; knowledge of geometry and Basic Trig Must be
able to stand for extended periods of time at the machines
