ESSENTIAL TASKS: Qualified to perform specific visual, dimensional and liquid penetrant inspections on a wide range of alloys in accordance with pre-selected written procedures and record the results. Following established procedures, prepare material for liquid penetrant testing; immerse in penetrant, developing and rinse solutions, coat with adhering powders. Inspect alloy bars, flats, billets and other items for compliance with company, customer and other specification. Check for surface cracks and other flaw using surface penetrant test procedures; identify and mark for grinding and removal. Use hand grinder as necessary to verify depth of defects. Check material for compliance with dimensional specifications, correctness of material identification stamping, general appearance and other pertinent elements. Perform other duties as required or directed. Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Follow prescribed safety regulations. Eyesight per QC-20. NON-ESSENTIAL TASKS:

Maintain all required inspection and related records. Prepare inspection reports and documents. REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED. Required to pass In-dept vision screeningCompleted required training per T.I. QC-20.Six month on the job training.Examination per QC-20.
