Job Description:

Blazerworks is partnering with a school district in York, SC to hire a Speech Language Pathologist to join their team. As a full-time Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students with speech and language disorders by providing individualized services to support their communication skills and overall academic success. Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify students with speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' communication goals
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure that students' needs are being met in all areas of the school environment
• Provide direct and indirect services to students based on their individual needs
• Monitor and document student progress
• Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices and research in the field of speech language pathology Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • South Carolina state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Knowledge of speech and language disorders and their impact on academic success
  • Experience working with children with a wide range of speech and language disorders
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
