Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse provides direct care to patients dealing with illnesses, injuries or surgeries. Their duties include but not limited to admitting and monitoring patients, administering medications and managing medical equipment.Additional Job DescriptionMinimum Training and Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and a minimum of one year of work experience as a Registered Nurse required. Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
