It all begins with you.The Strategy, Digital & Innovation (SDI) team forges the strategic direction of Wells Fargo, provides and manages our digital foundation and common capabilities, and transforms our business models to meet evolving customer needs and grow the company. The investments we are making will help the company create innovative digital banking experiences, and make it easier for customers to achieve their financial goals.SDI QOG will--support cross-LOB risk programs for SDI and will assume accountability for several front-line risk management--programs.Together the teams will work with the business to mitigate risk - this organizational design provides--the--resources--needed to--efficiently manage risk and execute against regulatory commitments--The Business Support Consultant will report into the Quality Operations Group within SDI and will provide coordination and execution support to establish and maintain key risk management routines across the SDI organization. The role requires an excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills, the ability to collaborate with many stakeholders and a strong background in risk management coordination and/or oversight.Responsibilities include:--- Support group-wide business routines to manage and improve the SDI control environment--- Provide coordination for control definition, creation, maintenance and reporting ----- Develop and enhance PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and other presentation materials for audiences of all levels--- Optimize aggregation and analysis of risk management information----- Manage communication activities for areas of accountability--- Support other risk program coordination activities when neededA successful candidate will possess the following:--- Effectively create presentations to deliver information to a wide range of audiences--- Use of Excel to manage and synthesize large data sets; including analysis of organizational financials--- Create and maintain SharePoint sites--- Prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under deadlines in a dynamic and fast paced environment--- Demonstrate creative and critical thinking skills--- Work independently and drive for results, a self-starter--- Collaborate with multiple teams, identify roadblocks, envision solutions and work towards resolution--- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, influence, and manage projects involving stakeholders at all levels of the organization----- Able to think strategically and pivot between multiple priorities----- Experience working in a matrixed environment either as a team member or consultant--- Strong listening and communications skills (both written and oral) with the ability to convey complex information and ideas both simply and clearly

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services demonstrated through work or military experience

    • Experience in gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets
    • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
    • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
    • Advanced Microsoft Visio skills
    • Advanced Microsoft Access skills
    • Advanced SharePoint skills
    • Experience working with the Shared Risk Platform (SHRP)
    • A BS/BA degree or higher

      Other Desired Qualifications
      • Experience with business process mapping, risk identification and control definition and creation
      • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering presentations --and other communications to a wide range of organizational levels with varying degrees of subject matter expertise
      • ARCHER Experience

        Job Expectations
        • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
