Our associates make the world more productive by improving the efficiency and reliability of the machinery that keeps industry in motion.Carolina Bearing Repair Service Center, a division of Timken Power Systems, is currently seeking a Customer Service Analyst to support operations for the Union, SC site. Duties:

  • Establish and maintain customer focus to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Responsible for shipping arrangements for incoming and outgoing product.
  • Working with suppliers, coordinate with vendors to insure delivery on components for jobs, purchased items, and communicating schedule back to operations.
  • Responsible for loading shop schedule to maintain the business goals as they relate to sales, OTD and past due.
  • Responsible for communicating expedite or special customer requests and for working with operations in regards meeting the shop schedule.
  • Support management team to deliver business plan objectives for shipments, gross margin, on time delivery, and cost control.Responsibilities:
    • Achieve business plan goal as it relates to customer service levels: timeliness of quotes, timeliness of response to customers and on time delivery.
    • Communicate with sales representatives and customers to insure quality and delivery per established KPI's.
    • Manage out-source and vendor supply chain to insure supplier on time delivery.  
    • Customer Service, Logistical Support, Master Scheduling & Business Plan Achievement as stated in Duties. Qualifications:
      High School diploma or equivalency, requiredAS or BS degree in Business or related field, preferredGeneral industrial knowledge and mechanical aptitudeProficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)Excellent customer service and interpersonal skillsProcurement and outside vendor management experience   Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, sales and management    Strong mechanical knowledgeStrong technical knowledge of large industrial bearingsA minimum of 2 years of applicable experience required, or a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience required in lieu of college degree This full-time position is eligible to participate in the company's short-term incentive program, paid time off plan, 401k, and comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.
