About the Position: Our client, a leader in materials science, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer, II to join their team in Monroe, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for managing outages and shutdowns, conducting audits, and developing and designing equipment, processes and standards for maintenance and production. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. Additionally, they should be skilled in analytical thinking and problem-solving, and possess excellent mechanical, electrical and controls aptitude. Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, BSEE or BSME preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and willingness to learn additional programs.
• Six Sigma Black/Green Belt or related certification.
• Statistical data analysis using JMP, Mini-Tab or related software.
• AutoCAD or Solidwork experience.
• PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Maximo or other CMMS experience.
• Excellent mechanical, electrical and controls aptitude.
• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to analyze and resolve difficult problems effectively and timely thru the implementation of long-term solutions.
