Job Description NEW Medical Technologist Opportunity – Clinical
Laboratory Lexington, NC Area | Full-Time | Day Shift A
well-established clinical laboratory organization is seeking a
Medical Technologist to join its team. This role is responsible for
specimen processing, laboratory testing, and accurate reporting of
results while supporting quality and operational efficiency in the
lab. Schedule: Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM Friday: 7:30 AM
– 1:30 PM Key Responsibilities: Process and analyze patient
specimens following laboratory protocols Perform clinical testing
and accurately interpret and report results Maintain competency
across standard laboratory procedures Identify and resolve issues
that could affect test performance or reporting Perform routine
instrument maintenance and troubleshooting Support QA/QC programs
and ensure regulatory compliance Assist leadership with
administrative tasks such as supply ordering and inventory
management Maintain adherence to laboratory safety standards and
compliance policies Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Medical
Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related scientific
field ASCP or AMT certification required Continuing education to
maintain certification Preferred: 3 years of clinical laboratory
