working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PICU RN in Charlotte,
North Carolina, 28204! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:

of 2 years in PICU License: Active RN license required
Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: PICU experience required
Experience with neurology patients Description: RTO after booking
is not allowed and cannot be worked onsite. Any call-offs or
additional RTO may result in a cancellation and do not return
(DNR). Traveler experience is preferred, but first-time travelers
with 2 years of experience will be accepted. The unit primarily
manages neurology post-operative cases. Target ratios are 1:2 based
on acuity, sometimes 1:3. The unit consists of 8 rooms for patient
care. There is no call requirement for this position. Floating to
other units is required as needed. Weekend shifts are required
every other weekend. The patient population includes those aged
0-17 years. Diagnoses include respiratory issues, neurosurgery,
hematology/oncology, and more. The unit has a daily census of
approximately 5-8 patients. Special procedures include managing a
high volume of neurology post-op cases. The environment is
fast-paced and requires staff to adapt to varying patient care
needs. Preferred skills include neurology experience,
administration of chemotherapy, IV placement, and lab draws.
Travelers cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or exceed 60
hours in a week. Modules must be completed pre-start and annually,
with varying hours based on specialty. References from previous
