Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Anderson, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,948 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: First-timers accepted Weekend requirement: Every other weekend Ability to float to other medical-surgical units Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. The nurse will provide care on a step-down telemetry unit. This unit frequently cares for critical care step-down patients. Patient admissions typically come from the emergency department and critical care units. Care may include managing tracheostomies, chest tubes, BIPAP, trilogy, and high-flow oxygen. The nurse will also provide negative pressure isolation when necessary. The typical patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Common diagnoses include COPD, pneumonia, CHF, pulmonary embolism, asthma, encephalopathy, and sepsis. The unit has capacity for 26 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes teams for IV therapy, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. The nursing team will operate as part of a resource pool, floating to multiple units as required. A strong understanding of telemetry and cardiac care is essential for this role. The nurse should be proficient in various telemetry skills including the interpretation of dysrhythmias. Management of dysrhythmias and monitoring patients on telemetry is a key responsibility. Experience with starting and maintaining IVs, as well as non-invasive airway management is important. The candidate should be comfortable working with oxygen administration and tracheostomy care. This position requires a commitment to high-quality patient care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
